Some members of the West Central Area Golf Team paired up with Mrs. Grosz’s first graders to create some amazingly creative pumpkins.  Radford and Diane Renstrom kindly donated pumpkins for each of the students in Mrs. Grsoz’s class and four golfers, Ava Jahnke, Jessica St. Martin, Trenton Gatzlaff, and Mitch Dewey, helped the class decorate their pumpkins.  Golf tees for hair, googly eyes, glitter sand, paint, pipe cleaners, a whole lot of imagination and the help of high school students made for a fun activity and treasured times.  It was a great opportunity for our students to work cooperatively.  The first graders and their teacher benefitted from extra helpful hands and the high school students got to experience what a positive impact they can have on others.
